1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, use our services, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, company name, e-commerce store URL, and payment information. We also automatically collect usage data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interactions with our platform. When you connect your e-commerce store (e.g., Shopify, Mercado Libre, Amazon), we access product listing data, catalog metadata, and store performance metrics as necessary to provide our AI optimization services.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve Dondo, including catalog scoring, listing optimization, buyer persona and brand analysis, product content generation, billing, transactional communications, customer support, product analytics, and legal compliance. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your data only when necessary to operate our services. This includes payment processors (such as Stripe) to handle billing, cloud infrastructure providers (such as AWS and Google Cloud) to host our platform, AI model providers to process listing optimization requests (product data is sent without personally identifiable information when possible), analytics services (Google Analytics, Statsig) to understand platform usage, and e-commerce platform APIs (Shopify, Amazon, Mercado Libre, etc.) as authorized by you. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to protect your information.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Product listing data and optimization history are retained to enable ongoing improvements and historical comparisons. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, request a portable copy of your data, opt out of marketing communications, restrict or object to certain data processing activities, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@dondo.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, access controls and authentication mechanisms, and secure cloud infrastructure with redundancy and backups. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it to support@dondo.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Dondo is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the 'Last updated' date. Your continued use of Dondo after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
