Your product has a name, a price and a photo. The page is live. But a shopper still cannot tell whether it fits their space, what comes in the box or how to care for it.

Those gaps matter when someone browses your store, searches Google or asks an AI assistant to compare products. A polished paragraph cannot supply a measurement that nobody recorded.

Dondo helps you find those gaps and work through the content around them. Its Analyst reviews listings for issues including SEO and AI search readiness. Copywriter, Photographer and Social Manager prepare product copy, images and social drafts. You choose the products to work on, check the drafts and decide what reaches your store.

Here is how that fits together, using an illustrative product rather than a customer success story.

Start with the questions your product page leaves unanswered

Consider a ceramic planter listed as “The Everyday Pot.” Its description reads:

Bring timeless beauty to your favorite space with this stylish, versatile planter.

The supplier’s confirmed information is more useful: a matte green ceramic planter, 15 cm outer diameter, 13 cm opening, a drainage hole, a matching saucer and a recommendation for indoor use. The plant in the photo is sold separately.

A shopper choosing a pot needs some of those details before deciding. “Will my nursery pot fit?” is a more useful writing prompt than “Make this sound premium.”

Dondo’s Analyst assesses the product information available to it. Its findings can draw attention to an unclear title, a thin description, missing fields or buyer questions the page does not answer. The score helps organize that work. Our guide to what a product listing score means explains how to use it when choosing improvements.

The merchant still supplies the facts. If the opening diameter is unknown, measure it or ask the supplier before including it in a draft.

Put SEO and AI search into the product work

For this planter, SEO work starts with a clear product name and a useful page. AI search readiness asks whether the same information can help answer a more specific shopping question, such as “Which green indoor planter has drainage and a saucer?”

That calls for precise product details in ordinary language. Repeating “best indoor planter” throughout the description adds little for the person comparing sizes.

Google’s guidance for its AI search features uses the same SEO foundations as ordinary Search, including accessible pages and useful content. It does not require special AI markup. Google Search Central’s AI feature guidance explains those requirements.

Dondo’s role is to help assess and improve the product content. Your store’s indexing settings, theme, structured data and product feeds also need attention through the tools that manage them. A copy rewrite cannot resolve every technical problem affecting discovery.

Turn verified details into a draft you can inspect

For the planter, a useful title draft could be:

Green ceramic planter with drainage hole and saucer, 15 cm outer diameter

The description could begin:

A matte green ceramic planter for indoor use, supplied with a matching saucer. The pot measures 15 cm across the outside, with a 13 cm opening. Check your nursery pot’s dimensions before choosing a size. Plant sold separately.

This example deliberately leaves out claims about frost resistance, sustainability and dishwasher cleaning. None appears in the source facts.

Dondo’s Copywriter uses product information and brand context to draft titles, descriptions and supported SEO fields. You compare the draft with the original, correct details and approve the wording you want to keep. The product description guide offers a broader checklist for that review.

Your brand voice still has a place. A gardening shop may use a warmer introduction; a commercial supplier may lead with specifications. In both versions, the opening remains 13 cm. Review Dondo’s suggested brand and buyer context against what you know about your business before using it to guide the copy.

Give the Photographer a source image worth keeping

The planter also needs useful photos. A clean product view can show its shape and finish. A lifestyle image can help a shopper picture it on a shelf.

Dondo’s Photographer creates new product visuals from existing photos. Compare each result with the original before using it. For this example, check the rim, the green finish, the drainage hole where visible, and whether the matching saucer is still the right shape.

The scene can introduce a new mistake even when the pot looks convincing. A generated image might show two pots, add a stand or make the planter look much larger than it is. Decide whether the image accurately represents the offer. Keep the dimensions in the page text, and make clear that a decorative plant is not included.

Use images that help the customer judge the actual item. Reject a beautiful scene if it misrepresents what they will receive.

Carry the same facts into social drafts

The product page now answers basic questions. Those details can also support an Instagram or Facebook post:

Choosing a pot for a small shelf? This green ceramic planter has a 15 cm outer diameter and comes with a matching saucer. Check the 13 cm opening against your nursery pot before ordering.

The caption gives a shopper a reason to open the product page and check whether the planter fits.

Dondo’s Social Manager prepares captions and visuals using product details and brand voice. Review them before posting through your social account or publishing tool. Creating or approving a draft in Dondo does not automatically post it to Instagram or Facebook.

Choose where the approved work goes

Dondo supports ecommerce work beyond Shopify. Its connection options include Tiendanube, WooCommerce, Square, Amazon, Mercado Libre and VTEX, alongside Shopify and catalog file import.

The available actions depend on the platform. After reviewing and approving work, use the publishing or export option available for the selected store. For example, VTEX content can be imported and reviewed, but changes need to go through file export and your VTEX workflow rather than direct publication from Dondo.

Check the destination after sending an update. An approved description and a successfully updated storefront are separate outcomes. The Dondo FAQ covers connection and publishing differences.

Try the workflow on products you know well

Start with one initial free Analyst scan per store, covering up to 500 connected-store products or 150 products from a file. Use the findings to choose a manageable set of products whose details you can verify.

Paid Expert work is available through one-time passes or a Team subscription. The allowance counts the products you enable for that work; importing a catalog does not automatically put every product into a paid workflow. Check current plans and included work before choosing.

Score your products free, then pick a listing you know well. Compare the findings with the real product and identify the first unanswered buyer question you want the page to resolve.
